I consider this to be one of the best festivals in Japan; you can see the cherry blossoms blooming and take in the sights of historic Inuyama. Held on the 1st Saturday and Sunday of April at Inuyama City. This is a festival of Haritsuna Shrine started in around 1635. 13 three tiered Yamas or the floats designated as tangible folk culture properties of Aichi Prefecture march the streets and show Karakuri-doll (or mechanical doll) performances with music of flutes and drums.

This is an experiment of sorts to try to tie together my online identity and my offline personality. I've made plenty of business oriented sites, but I have never actually put together one for myself personally... With the advent of social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace along with blog sites like Blogger and Twitter, I find that I have cut a wide swath here in the internet, in terms of being actively online, but there isn't one place to really tie that information together.
